Yeesh. Should not need to research how to change colour in a program called “paintbrush”.

I BOUGHT THIS APP AS A MS PAINT ALTERNATIVE FOR THE MAC. THE PROGRAM CANNOT EVEN PROPERLY OPEN A GIF, JPEG OR BMP FILE. WHAT OPENS UP IS ABOUT 1/4 OF THE IMAGE. ANOTHER MAJOR PROBLEM I FOUND WITH THIS PROGRAM IS THAT YOU CANNOT MOVE THE IMAGE ON THE CANVAS WITHOUT SELECTING IT WITH THE CAPTUPRE TOOL. SEEMS TO HAVE MANY BRUSHES AND TOOLS, HOWEVER AT THIS POINT I WOULD RECOMMEND TO STAY VERY FAR AWAY FR0M THIS PROGRAM… AT LEAST UNTIL THEY HAVE FIXED THE BASICS. DISAPOINTED.
There needs to be a color menu displayed at all times, as it stands its too complicated to change colors of different brushes etc, please fix the bugs in this program
Clumsey at best, but then you gett what you pay for. - Painting tools are not precise. - Difficult to move back and forth amoung the tools available. - There are many brushes but most are very similar to one another.

This program has tons and tons of bugs… Its a shame apple has released it to the public.. Cant believe I payed for it..
Im not a great artist by any stretch. But I needed a graphics program that I could use mutiple layers of images, text and quick markups for client mockups. I didnt want to invest a ton of money in something, so Im glad I found My PaintBrush Pro. Simple, quick, and elegant at the same time. I love the choices of brushes, which make my mockups look great!

This is pretty much MyPaint. Thing is, MyPaint is freeware. This is five bucks. Still, its cheaper than getting Parallels, so I suppose overall its cheaper. And the Program itself isnt half bad.
I love my mac but dislike this app. It is not as simple as Microsoft Paint. And there is no way to use the grid lines without zooming which is pretty unhelpful.
Good Things, the tools are simple to use, experiment! Have fun with it before knocking it. I find it very useful. The layer system is really simple, I like it. Bad Things: Its still too buggy. The menus freeze up from time to time, I finished a good painting and before I could save it unexpectedly quit… Please update soon. For a paid app, this needs to be a little less problematic.
Poorly Made
This is not for users familliar with regular painting software. Clearly a cash-in.
It’s a good app, but there is one problem. With the curve tool, it just uses regular brushes. The straight tool is working fine though. Please fix this in the next update. Thanks

Seemed fine, but there is no help and no tutorials
I really wish I had done some research before paying for this app. It seems like it could be useful, but not all the tools are intuitive and I cannot find any tutorials, online support, forums, help from the company or anything that all to help guide you through making things. There also does not appear to be a print preview option either so I cannot even see if what I have done is going to come out the way I hope without having to just print it first. Very disappointed. I wish I could get a refund and get another app.
CRAP WASTE OF $$$
Works but you can’t change text color. Just refuses. Always goes back to jet black. Nothing I have tried fixes it. And the crappy way you have to work with the text box is just bad at best. Programing is not there skill set. Stealing money is. Oh and lets not forget. No way to reach them to get help.

Microsoft Paint

If you have Windows, there's a better way.

A multi-layer graphics program I can afford!

Far from professional quality
